At Fulwell Infant School Academy, our Art curriculum is designed to inspire creativity, imagination and confidence. Children develop artistic skills over time through drawing, painting, printing, sculpture, textiles and collage. They explore the work of famous artists, learn how to use different materials and techniques, and develop the confidence to talk about and evaluate their own work.
Children revisit key artistic skills throughout the school so that knowledge and techniques are remembered and built upon year after year. Self-portraits are used across all year groups to show progression in drawing, detail and control over time.
