Admissions to Fulwell Infant School Academy

Welcome

Thank you for considering Fulwell Infant School Academy for your child’s education.
As a specialist infant school for children aged 3–7 years, we provide a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to be curious, confident and successful learners. Our dedicated staff work closely with families to ensure every child feels happy, safe and ready to thrive.

We welcome visits from prospective parents and carers and would be delighted to show you our school in action.

Nursery Admissions

We offer places in our Nursery for children from the term after their third birthday, subject to availability.

To enquire about Nursery places or arrange a visit, please contact the school office.

Reception Admissions

Applications for Reception places are managed by Sunderland City Council through the coordinated admissions process.

Children start Reception in the September following their fourth birthday.

Parents should complete the Local Authority application form by the published deadline. We strongly encourage families to visit the school before applying.
