Welcome from the Head Teacher

Dear Parents,

I am delighted that you are considering Fulwell Infant School  Academy for the infant stage of your son or daughter’s education.

As our reputation and outstanding  OFSTED report (2014) fully endorse, we have many strengths.  These  include very high  standards of teaching  throughout the school,  demanding expectations of children’s achievements and behaviour.  In addition to this we firmly believe in providing all children with a wide range of opportunities, sporting, musical, cultural, recreational and social.

Our aim is to provide each child with an education that will equip them to become responsible citizens, to make informed choices having both self respect and respect for others.  To achieve this we provide an extensive range of opportunities beyond the school day, in an  atmosphere of firm but caring control. Our mission is to create a safe, stimulating and happy learning environment within which every child is able to realise their potential.

We can only move towards this aim with the full co-operation and  support of parents and the wider community.  I hope  this will be the beginning of a fruitful and happy relationship.
